About PRA

The Philippine Rheumatology Association was inaugurated on May 27, 1964. It is composed of doctors whose main interests are the rheumatic diseases. Members have undergone training in the field of rheumatology and clinical immunology for at least two years and had passed the board examination given by the Philippine Specialty Board of Rheumatology.  Currently the PRA has 235 members, with 208 Adult Rheumatologists and 27 Pediatric Rheumatologists.

To be the recognized leader in the field of rheumatology in the Philippines and a major contributor in the Asia-Pacific Region.

MISSION

The PRA is a collegial organization, composed on competent, compassionate, socially responsive and ethical rheumatologist and other specialists that is committed to:
